In recent days, a major glacial collapse and intense monsoon rainfall across Nepal has triggered devastating floods and severe landslides. Torrential waters have inundated entire communities, destroying homes, sweeping away vital infrastructure, and leaving thousands of families stranded without safe drinking water, food or shelter. Displaced families are living in temporary conditions, and the immediate risk of waterborne disease and exposure grows every day.
Who We Are & How We Are Helping
The Leo Club is a youth-led international service organization dedicated to community welfare, disaster relief, and social impact through actionable volunteer work and targeted fundraising. We are the Leos of Navi Mumbai APMC. Seeing the immense crisis unfolding in Nepal, our club has stepped up to mobilize urgent financial support from our local community.
To ensure maximum impact and transparency, 100% of the funds collected by Leo Club of Navi Mumbai APMC will be transferred directly to our fellow Leo clubs operating on the ground in Nepal. Because local Leos are already present in the affected regions, they can procure and deliver relief supplies to families quickly and efficiently without unnecessary administrative and logistical delay.
How Your Contributions Will Be Used
Your donations will go directly toward funding essential relief items distributed by Nepal Leos, including:
- Emergency Rations: Clean drinking water packets, rice, pulses, and dry food.
- Shelter Essentials: Waterproof tarpaulin sheets, warm blankets, and ground mats.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Water purification tablets, basic first aid kits, sanitary pads and other important health items to prevent disease.
- Local Logistics: Transportation to deliver relief packages directly to hard to reach, isolated flood zones.
