No. Creating a fundraiser on BRRO is free. Donors can optionally add a small tip to support the platform.
Who can start a fundraiser?
Anyone in India with a valid phone number and email can start one — for themselves, a family member, a friend, or a cause they care about.
How long does verification take?
Most fundraisers are reviewed within 24 hours. Medical and high-value fundraisers may need documents like hospital estimates or bills.
Can donors get an 80G tax receipt?
Yes, for eligible fundraisers. Donors who enter their PAN get an 80G certificate they can download any time from their BRRO account.
When can I withdraw the money?
After your one-time KYC is approved you can request a withdrawal whenever funds are available. Payouts usually reach your bank in 3–5 business days.
What if a fundraiser is not genuine?
Our Trust & Safety team verifies fundraisers before they go live and keeps monitoring them. You can report any fundraiser and we will investigate.
