शास्त्रों के अनुसार निर्जला एकादशी सभी एकादशियों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ मानी जाती है। इस दिन किया गया दान और सेवा अनंत पुण्य प्रदान करता है। भगवान विष्णु को निःस्वार्थ सेवा सबसे प्रिय है।
