Help Me Rebuild My Family and Secure My Daughter’s Future

My name is Bhaskar Banerjee, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

My wife, Munmun Banerjee, suffered from pancreatic cancer. During her illness, I had to step away from regular work so that I could care for her and remain by her side.

Sadly, my wife passed away on 21 May 2025.

Since then, I have been struggling to rebuild my life financially and emotionally. The loss of my wife also meant the loss of the stability that our family once had. I have limited financial resources and am currently facing an extremely difficult situation.

My greatest concern now is my 3-year-old daughter, Mithai.

She is currently staying with her maternal family. I have been told that they can no longer continue keeping her there, and I need to bring my daughter back home. I urgently need to create a safe and stable environment for her, while also managing her food, daily needs, education and other essential expenses.

This fundraiser is therefore not only about getting through one immediate emergency. I am trying to rebuild a basic, secure life for myself and my daughter after everything our family has been through.

I am seeking ₹3,50,000 in support. The funds will help me bring my daughter home, manage essential household and childcare expenses, provide for her education and basic needs, deal with urgent family expenses, and give me the breathing space needed to restart my work and become financially independent again.

I am not asking for a luxurious life or a permanent dependence on donations. I want the opportunity to stand on my own feet again and give my daughter a safe childhood and a secure future.
